The Sunshine Children's Center is always seeking volunteers with professional skills who desire to invest their respective knowledge and skills in the lives of underprivileged children. You would work side-by-side with other professionals and the children in kind of mentorship program designed to build relationships based upon respect, trust and love.
Professional skills we desire include: auto service mechanic, auto body repair, small appliance repair, seamstress, cooking, baking, computer use, repair, programming and networking, music, voice, home repair skills, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing and life skills nursing, educational and adventure skills, and small business development skills.
The minimum time commitment required is (3) months however (12) months are recommended. Participants must be self-sufficient during there time at the center.
