Children who come to Sunshine from a life on the street require sufficient time and therapy in the center for social rehabilitation. After the process of rehabilitation is finished each child is placed in a foster family or given the opportunity to move into our own Sunshine Center Foster House.

Training |
Every year more than one thousand young women leave government run orphanages or homes for underprivileged children. Although they are adult, their life skills level is very poor. As a result, they are not prepared for independent life outside a government program. Often they lack the simple life skills of cooking, cleaning, or other skills necessary to work and pay for monthly rent. Camps |
There are many underprivileged children in Ukraine. In our region alone, there are 1700 Kids at risk. Such children need special assistance and help in order to overcome their disadvantages and to pursue their optimal development. Summer time gives Sunshine Children's Center the opportunity to serve many of these children in the Brovary region. Summer camps provide an opportunity for underprivileged to rest, experience a new environment of encouragement and love, and to learn ways of overcoming their emotional and behavioural challenges.

Loans |
The purpose and objective of the Micro Loan program is to give our children (i.e. young adults) a chance to build their respective lives by investing in their future. We help them in three specific areas. First, by investing in higher education or professional life skills gained through technical school. Second, by starting their own small business. And finally, to buy a flat (apartment) something that is essential to a stable life here in Eastern Europe.

Program |
A Christmas tree with angels representing each each child at the Kiev Kids Sunshine Children's Center would be placed in our church begining November 21st. On the back of each angel (hand make and painted) will be the name, age, and photo of each child at the center. Additionally, other details regarding a christmas gift suggestion for any person(s) or family that would like to fill a girl's or boy's Christmas dream.
