Lucia suffers from the Friedrichs Ataxie and her course of treatment should help slow down the development of the illness. This seldom sickness leads to gradually paralysis of the body and then to death.

Lucia has the Friedreich-Ataxie-Illness. According to the encyclopaedia of Roche the Friedreich-Ataxie becomes evident in early childhood as a recessive hereditary Little Brain-Spinal Marrow-Illness. The average life expectancy lies at 30-45 years. Common cause of death is a progressive cardiomyopathy, which means a thickening of the heart muscle. At the thickened section the path of outflow is restricted, so that the blood is hindered to leave the ventricle. In Ukraine this sickness is as good as not being treated. Perhaps you can help save the life of Lucia. We are looking for all information and possibilities of treatments. As well we would like to ask all of you to pray for Lucia - we believe that God can restore her health.
